Black Friday Perfect Morning For Sitting

Slipping into a distant shoreline before the sun's first rays is always a good start to the day.
The hope was to catch a coyote or bobcat walking the distant shoreline. Is was just about a year ago in this exact spot I was able to photograph a bobcat walking the shoreline, which are some of the best pictures in my photo library.
The morning was pretty quiet for mammals. Waterfowl was abundant. Seeing geese, mergansers, mallards, loons and king fisher.

I also sat in this spot this morning. Wind picked up blowing off the reservoir  and circulating my scent everywhere. I did see a immature eagle right overhead and a few small flocks of geese.

New Milestone Reached !

Barely light, I am off to reach Quabbin's shoreline . As I round Deadman's Curve, the distant call of a loon adds to making this a memorable day. Sitting and seeing Soapstone & Rattlesnake Hill in the distance as a immature eagle flies over puts the icing on the cake. This day, the "ole hiking boots " have covered 2,500 miles carrying a camera in the boundaries of Quabbin.
